Visitors are welcome, but have limited access to services provided by the library. Only library members (those patrons who hold library cards) can check out books and take advantage of interlibrary loan. This section provides links to general information, a virtual tour, hours, staff info, and how to obtain a library card. Local high school instructors can also learn how to sign their class up for library instruction.Borrowing Information

Library Instruction for Visiting Students
The John C. Murphy Memorial Library at the College of Lake County offers library instruction as opposed to library tours. Library instruction addresses appropriate library resources and research techniques for a specific assignment to be carried out by students.
