Special Needs: Equipment

We currently have two workstations for students with special needs in the Reference Lab. One station is reserved for patrons who require wheelchair access. The desk provides clearance for a wheelchair and a local printer is attached for easy access to your printed documents. The second station is reserved for visually impaired patrons. It is equiped with a television set for a monitor which allows for larger screen displays. The computers at each special needs workstation have the same software installed on them as the computers in the rest of the lab as well as access to all the same databases and other resources.
