Our Changing Library

We may look the same on the outside but there are always new and exciting things to watch out for. Keep an eye out for updates including a new look for our online catalog, an expanded graphic novel collection, and a new service called MyMediaMall that allows you to download ebooks, video, and audiobooks to your MP3 player!

Graphic Novels Now!

Come visit the library’s new and expanded section of graphic novels, comics, and manga now located near BestSellers and CD Browse. Discover a hip and educational genre that increases vocabulary, engages visual learners, explores sophisticated themes, and is just plain fun! Here’s a taste of our collection…

Download best selling digital titles 24/7 to your PC, PDA, or MP3 player from home, at work, in the library, or anywhere in the world. This digital library never closes. My Media Mall is very easy to use, in just a few minutes, even the newest user can enjoy a downloaded title. If you have any questions or are just curious give the reference desk a call at (847)543-2071. Here are a few FAQs:

• You can have a maximum of five titles checked out
• Most titles are checked out for 21 days and are automatically returned
• Right now it down not offer music downloads
• Make sure you know your CLC ID number – you’ll need it to check out items. This also means that My Media Mall is currently limited to CLC faculty, staff, and students.
