About the Collection
Named after the first chairperson of the Communication Arts, Humanities, and Fine Arts Division, the John C. Murphy Memorial Library honors one of CLC's earliest teachers and leaders with a collection of over 110,000 books and 900 periodical titles. A bank of computers in the reference area provides access to databases and information on CD-ROMS. Many of these databases are also accessible from off campus. Its Audiovisual Department provides students with access to over 3,000 films and videotapes, 7,000 audio products, and hundreds of other media.Grayslake Hours: M - F 8:00am to 4:30pm | Saturday and Sunday Closed
